Baby Steps

Due to his growing anxiety about his health, Eiichirou Maruo decided to increase his physical activity during what little free time he has available, joining the Southern Tennis Club immediately upon seeing a flyer for it at the beginning of freshman year.

Eiichirou meets Natsu Takasaki on his free trial at the club and quickly finds that her determination and love of tennis rival his own; Eiichirou's life, on the other hand, revolves solely around studies rather than enjoyment - until playing tennis became his new passion and his monotonous days ended completely! As soon as Eiichirou began taking lessons again he quickly found himself becoming fascinated with it again and the more often he played tennis was become fascinated with its thrills and spillover effects on him than before...

Baby Steps tells the tale of Eiichirou, an ambitious youth who utilizes his hardworking and meticulous nature to form his own distinctive playing style. Bit by bit, his skills improve; with practice he hopes one day standing equal with tennis' elite players.
