Battery

At only 12 years old, Takumi Harada is already recognized for his prodigious baseball pitching talent. But after moving with his family from Nitta into an unskilled baseball team at their new school in Nitta, this decision left them no choice other than joining. For him this development did not disappoint him at all as it adds further character as this no-name club becomes formidable due to him joining. Unfortunately though his talent can become overwhelming so they need someone capable of keeping pace with him on pitching pitches!

His worries quickly dissipate when he meets Gou Nagakura - his fan and fellow student; Gou is eager to prove he's more than an empty braggart, as his skills prove useful against Takumi's pitches. Unfortunately, Takumi and Gou struggle to form an "end battery", with Takumi often coming into conflict with teammates due to his irreverent personality causing friction among teammates but eventually discover the true joy of baseball under guidance from his grandfather.
